Laura joined The Davidson Group Realty in May of 2018. Her desire to pursue a career in real estate began many years ago. When her husband decided to become a general contractor, she began to assist with design and together they successfully renovated and sold multiple houses. This created a passion in her for real estate. With fifteen years of teaching under her belt, she decided it was time to pursue her dream.
Born and raised in a small rural suburb of Pittsburgh, PA, she lived with her parents and brother. Growing up with parents who were hard working instilled a strong work ethic in her, and it is also where she became a die-hard Pittsburgh Steeler fan.
Graduating with high honors from several different universities, Laura holds Bachelors of Science in Elementary and Special Education, as well as Masters Degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and Administration. Teaching has given her an abundance of attributes that will translate into her real estate career. Laura has excellent communication skills, is organized, and does well meeting deadlines. Teaching has also refined her discernment with relaying key information in order not to overwhelm.
Following college she began teaching, met her husband, Marc, and settled in Gresham, Oregon prior to moving to California in 2011. Together they have three daughters.
Laura enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being an active part of her community and is a regular volunteer at her church. When she’s not on the sidelines cheering on her daughters at their sporting events, she can be found running, hiking, or spending time at the beach. In 2017, Laura completed the Half Marathon Triple Crown Series. She is dedicated, tenacious and committed to use these skills to help you with the next chapter of your life whether you are buying or selling.
